Flexible cable for demanding applications

MEGAFLEX 500 18G2.5 cable is a high-quality, halogen-free flexible cable with a rated voltage of 500V. It is designed for a wide range of applications, both in fixed installations and where flexibility and resistance to harsh conditions are required. The gray jacket provides good visibility and identification in the installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction – it has 18 copper, stranded wires (class 5), which ensures high flexibility and resistance to bending. The wire insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black wires are clearly marked with white numbers (according to DIN VDE 0293), and from 3 wires there is a yellow-green protective wire. The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to your needs.

The materials used are resistant to oils, greases, UV radiation and weathering. Additionally, the cable exhibits resistance to hydrolysis and ozone, which guarantees long-term reliability even in demanding environments. It meets standards regarding low emissions of harmful substances during combustion (LS0H) and has certificates confirming its safety and compliance with European standards (CE).

Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to external factors, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. The wire cross-section of 2.5 mm² provides adequate current carrying capacity for many typical applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 18.1 mm.
