This grey, halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 25G1 flexible cable is a versatile solution for electrical installations where high flexibility and safety are required. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from the construction of machines and equipment, through air conditioning systems, to ship structures and renewable energy sources. Its construction ensures reliable operation even in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: multi-wire copper conductors class 5 are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer. Black conductors are clearly marked with white numbers, and the protective conductor (available with or without a yellow-green conductor) provides additional safety. Parallel twisted conductors are surrounded by an outer jacket of halogen-free polymer, which increases resistance to mechanical damage and environmental factors. The outer diameter of the cable is 15.2 mm.

It is worth noting that the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable meets strict safety standards regarding fire safety (IEC 60332-1-2) and smoke and gas emissions during combustion (DIN VDE 0482-754-1). Additionally, it is resistant to oils, UV radiation and hydrolysis. The flexibility of the cable has been confirmed by an alternative bending test according to DIN VDE 0473-396 / DIN EN 50396.

The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Its permissible operating temperature is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -30°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm².
