This grey, halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 2x10 flexible cable with a cross-section of 10 mm² is a reliable solution for both professional installers and end-users. It provides safe and efficient power transmission in a variety of applications, from machine and equipment construction, through air conditioning systems, to ship structures and renewable energy sources.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring high flexibility and durability. It is made of stranded copper conductors, class 5, which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which significantly increases safety in the event of a fire – minimizing the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black cores are clearly marked with white numbers (according to DIN VDE 0293), and in the version with a protective conductor (G) there is also a yellow-green PE core. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating made of halogen-free polymer in grey color (RAL 7001).

The cable meets stringent European standards (DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11) and American standards (UL-Style 20939, UL-Std. 758), which confirms its high quality and safety of use. It also has a CE certificate, guaranteeing compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is designed for both fixed installations and flexible connections – provided there are free movements without excessive mechanical stress. Its resistance to oils, fats, UV radiation and weather conditions makes it perfect for harsh environmental conditions. Thanks to its resistance to hydrolysis and ozone, it ensures long-term reliability. Particularly important is its flame resistance and the absence of toxic substance emissions during combustion – these are key advantages in applications requiring a high level of fire safety. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible installation and 4x for fixed installation, making it easy to install even in tight spaces.
