MEGAFLEX 500 4G6 cable is a flexible solution for power and control installations where resistance to harsh conditions and safety are crucial. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and exposure to external factors. This cable is used both in fixed installations and in situations requiring flexibility and mobility, e.g. in the construction of machines and equipment.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction – stranded copper conductors, providing high flexibility, are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer. The conductors are arranged in parallel twisted pairs, and the whole is surrounded by a protective coating made of the same material, which guarantees high resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation and hydrolysis. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easy to identify in the installation. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety.

The use of halogen-free materials is not only a matter of fire safety – during combustion it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases, which is crucial in closed rooms or places with increased environmental protection requirements. The cable meets a number of European and international standards (DIN VDE, DIN EN, UL/CSA), which confirms its high quality and compliance with applicable standards. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 4x for fixed laying – which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
