This halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 flexible cable is a solid solution for both professional installers and end users. ### Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Made of multi-strand twisted copper (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, it ensures safe and reliable power transmission. The cores are black with white digital printing for easy identification, and the protective core (in versions with it) is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by a durable, gray (RAL 7001) outer coating made of a halogen-free polymer.

The cable meets strict safety standards, including IEC 60332-1-2 (self-extinguishing and flame retardant) and DIN VDE 0482-754-1 / DIN EN 60754-1 (halogen-free). Additionally, it is resistant to oils, UV radiation, hydrolysis and ozone. This makes it perfect for harsh environmental conditions.
