This grey, halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 5G25 flexible cable with a cross-section of 25 mm² is designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Designed for installations in machines, equipment, air conditioning systems, ship structures and renewable energy sources, it provides safe and reliable electrical connections.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction based on five stranded copper conductors, which gives it high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The conductors are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, which in the event of a fire minimizes the emission of toxic gases and smoke - important for the safety of people and equipment. The outer jacket made of the same material further protects the cable against mechanical damage, oils, UV radiation and weathering. Black conductors are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification, and a protective conductor (green-yellow) is present in versions with three or more working conductors.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The MEGAFLEX 500 5G25 cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range - from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installation and from -30°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter during flexible operation and 4x the diameter during fixed installation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std. 758, confirming its high quality and safety of use. It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
