This halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 flexible cable is a versatile solution for power and control installations. Construction and properties

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is designed with safety and durability in mind. It consists of stranded copper conductors, insulated with a special halogen-free polymer. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by a protective outer coating made of the same material, providing resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation, and hydrolysis. The core conductors are black with white number printing, and the protective conductor (in versions with a protective conductor) is yellow-green – in accordance with DIN VDE 0293. The metered cable facilitates precise length adjustment to the needs of the installation.

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V (300/500V) is designed for universal use in electrical installations. Its outer diameter is approximately 8.9 mm. Thanks to its construction and properties, it works perfectly both in fixed and movable installations (with free movements without mechanical stress). It is an ideal choice for installers building machines and equipment, air conditioning systems or ship structures, as well as for investors using renewable energy sources – e.g. wind power plants. The cable is available in a version with a yellow-green protective conductor (G) or without it (x).
