### Construction and properties

It is made of stranded copper conductors (class 5), insulated with a special halogen-free polymer. The conductors are black with white numbers for easy identification according to DIN VDE 0293. The yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) is located in the outer layer. Twisted conductors in parallel, separated by a separating foil and shielded with a braid of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) provide excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should be connected to the terminals (e.g., cable glands) on both sides for optimal shielding effectiveness. The whole is surrounded by an outer jacket made of a special halogen-free polymer in gray (RAL 7001).
