This shielded MEGAFLEX 500-C 3G4 mm² halogen-free cable is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for a high-quality control and power cable. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Multi-strand, flexible copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295) ensure good conductivity and easy installation. The conductors are black with digital numbering (DIN VDE 0293) for easy identification. The insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). The screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in sensitive applications. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating made of halogen-free polymer in gray color (RAL 7001).

Application and parameters

The MEGAFLEX 500-C 3G4 mm² cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 10.6 mm. The cable meets a number of European and international standards, including DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std.758 confirming its high quality and safety of use. It is resistant to oils, UV radiation and has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.
