The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring reliable operation in various conditions. Made of high-quality materials, including stranded copper conductors (class 5), it provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The conductors are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. The braid screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in sensitive applications. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, UV radiation and weathering.

Application and compliance with standards

The MEGAFLEX 500-C cable meets the stringent standards of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std.758, which guarantees its high quality and safety. It can be used for both fixed installations and flexible connections (subject to appropriate operating conditions). Thanks to its properties, it performs perfectly in demanding industrial environments and in applications exposed to external factors. The cable is metered for easy dispensing and installation.

This cable is distinguished by a rated voltage of 500 V and a conductor cross-section of 1 mm². Its outer diameter is approximately 6.7 mm, and the operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -30°C to +80°C for flexible applications. The cable has three black conductors numbered according to DIN VDE 0293. The effectiveness of EMC interference reduction is ensured by the copper braid. The outer sheath is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases the level of fire safety. Additionally, the cable is characterized by resistance to oils, UV radiation and weathering.

Remember to optimize shielding by ensuring bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands) for maximum EMC effectiveness.
