Halogen-free control and power cable – reliability and safety in every application

This shielded halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500-C 4G70 mm² cable is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who expect high quality and safety. It is designed for use in machine and equipment construction, air conditioning systems, ship structures, and renewable energy sources such as wind turbines. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std.758, which guarantees its reliability and compliance with applicable regulations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is made of stranded, twisted copper conductors (class 5), which provides flexibility and facilitates installation. The conductors are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, and their identification is done using white numbers printed on black insulation according to DIN VDE 0293. The yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) is placed in the outer layer. The whole is surrounded by a separating foil and a braid screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage), which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket is made of halogen-free polymer in gray color (RAL 7001).
