Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The MEGAFLEX 500-C cable is distinguished by its careful construction, which translates into its unique properties. Four copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², made of stranded wire class 5 (flexible multi-wire), provide flexibility and ease of installation. The conductors are insulated with a special halogen-free polymer and marked with black numbers according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a separating foil and a braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage), which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should be securely connected to the terminals (e.g., cable glands) for optimal EMC protection. The outer jacket is made of a halogen-free polymer in gray color (RAL 7001), which provides resistance to external factors and facilitates cable identification.

Compliance with standards such as DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24 IEC 60332-3-24 and DIN VDE 0482-754-1 confirms its highest quality and safety. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.3 mm and its weight is approximately 0.1047 kg/m.
