This shielded MEGAFLEX 500-C 7G1 mm² halogen-free cable is the ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who expect high quality and safety. The cable meets the stringent standards of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std.758, which guarantees its reliability and compliance with requirements.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Made of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, it provides flexibility and ease of installation. The conductors are black with white numbers according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification. The yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) is placed in the outer layer for additional safety. A braid screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should be connected to the terminals (e.g. cable glands) for optimal EMC protection. The whole is surrounded by an outer jacket made of a special halogen-free polymer in gray (RAL 7001).
