Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This grey, flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH LS0H is a solution designed for installations requiring a high level of fire safety, especially in public places. The cable is characterized by a halogen-free construction, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting both people and sensitive electronics. Fire reaction class B2ca provides an additional level of protection.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-wire copper conductors, which guarantees its flexibility and facilitates installation. The core insulation is made of a halogen-free polymer mixture, ensuring safety in the event of a fire. Protective conductors (green-yellow) are present from 3 cores upwards and placed in the outer layer of the core. The cores are twisted in layers with an optimal lay length, and the whole is surrounded by a halogen-free plastic coating in grey (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the installation needs.

• Flexibility: Facilitates routing cables in tight spaces and during installation.
• Temperature resistance: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (flexible from -15°C to +70°C).
• Operating voltage: 300/500 V – universal application in electrical installations.
• Minimum bending radius: 12.5x cable diameter (flexible) and 4x cable diameter (for fixed laying) – ensures easy installation without damage.
• CPR class: B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 - high fire resistance class according to EN 50575.

The JZ-520 HMH LS0H 5G10 cable is primarily used as a control cable in buildings with high fire safety requirements – office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports or stations. It will also be useful in industrial installations, machines and air conditioning systems. It is suitable for use in both dry and humid environments and for surface mounting.
