Control cable for use in energy chains

This flexible, shielded cable, catalog number 19131, is a solution dedicated to demanding applications where exposure to electromagnetic interference and frequent bending is unavoidable. The S.P.T-C-PUR 4x2x0.75 cable is designed for reliable transmission of control signals in dynamic industrial environments. Its construction provides high mechanical and chemical resistance, guaranteeing long-term operation even in harsh conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction based on stranded copper conductors, twisted in pairs to minimize interference. Each conductor is insulated with PP material, and the whole is surrounded by a braid screen made of tinned copper wires – this ensures effective protection against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. The durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable against abrasion, tearing and the influence of oils and solvents. This makes the cable perfect for applications such as robotics, moving parts of machines or BUS systems.

Technical parameters and application

The cable has a cross-section of 0.75 mm² per conductor and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 350 V. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (flexible) and -30°C to +70°C (stationary). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.6 mm. The number of conductors is 8 (4 pairs). Conductor identification is done using colors in accordance with DIN VDE 47100.
