Control cable for use in energy chains

This flexible, shielded cable, designed for chain systems, is ideal for applications requiring high resistance to electromagnetic interference and frequent bending. Designed for robotics, moving machine parts and BUS systems, it ensures reliable data transmission even in harsh conditions. Construction and properties

The cable features a construction based on twisted copper strands, which minimizes interference. These strands are insulated with polypropylene (PP), and the whole is surrounded by a braided screen of tinned copper wires, providing high efficiency in noise suppression. A durable polyurethane (TMPU) outer jacket provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, acids and alkalis. This makes the cable perfect for demanding industrial environments.

Technical parameters and application

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² and 6 conductors arranged in pairs. The rated voltage is 350 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 8.8 mm. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -30°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary). The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5xØ cable for 0.25mm² conductors and 10xØ cable for 0.5-1mm² conductors. Thanks to the shielding, it is ideal for applications requiring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). To optimize EMC, it is recommended to make a two-sided contact of the copper braid with the clamps.
