Control cable for dynamic applications
This flexible shielded cable, designed for control systems, is distinguished by its high resistance to mechanical and chemical factors. The S.P.T-C-PUR cable is characterized by a construction based on copper strands twisted in pairs, which minimizes the risk of interference. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires effectively protects against the influence of external disturbances. A durable polyurethane (PUR) coating provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and many chemicals.
Construction and properties
- Stranded and twisted bare copper conductors – guarantee flexibility and long-term reliability of connections.
- Polypropylene (PP) core insulation – provides good electrical insulation and chemical resistance.
- Twisted pairs of cores – reduce noise and interference in signal transmission.
- Braided screen made of tinned copper wires – effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC).
- Outer jacket made of polyurethane (TMPU) – provides high mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance.
- Grey color (RAL 7001) – facilitates cable identification in the installation.
- Metered cable – allows precise adjustment of length to installation needs.
This cable complies with DIN VDE 0812 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances. The conductor cross-section of 0.25 mm² makes the cable suitable for control applications with medium current load. The use of a braided screen increases resistance to interference in harsh industrial conditions.
