High-temperature, halogen-free power cable – reliability and safety
This black, four-core HELUTHERM® 145 MULTI cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is an advanced solution for installations requiring high thermal resistance and fire safety. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, both in industrial installations and in public buildings. Core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 simplifies installation and servicing.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using flexible, stranded copper conductors (class 5) insulated with a polyolefin copolymer. The cores are twisted in parallel, which ensures flexibility and ease of routing. In addition, the cable has a separating foil and an external coating made of electron-crosslinked and halogen-free polyolefin copolymer. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.9 mm. This combination of materials guarantees high resistance to weather conditions, moisture, ozone and UV radiation.
It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -55°C to +145°C (short-term up to +250°C). The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-3-22 and BS 4066 part 3 regarding fire resistance.
