Halogen-free coaxial cable KOAX RG-H 214 U 40196
Coaxial cable – safety and efficiency in data transmission
This halogen-free RG-H 214 U coaxial cable is a reliable solution for a wide range of high-frequency transmission applications. It is suitable for both transmitting and receiving installations, as well as for the computer industry and industrial electronics. Its construction is designed with safety in mind, minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.
Construction and application
This cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, is characterized by a wave impedance of 50 Ohm, making it ideal for transmitting high-frequency signals. Made with a silver-plated copper core, surrounded by a double shield of silver-plated braided copper, it provides excellent signal quality and minimizes interference. The gray outer jacket made of halogen-free material (HM2) increases safety, especially in places with increased fire protection requirements.
Thanks to its mechanical and thermal properties (operating temperature range from -35°C to +80°C), the cable can be used even in harsh environmental conditions. This is particularly important in industrial installations and facilities exposed to extreme temperatures. In addition, the absence of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances makes the cable environmentally friendly and safe to use.
Key features and benefits
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket (HM2) minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire, protecting people and property.
- High signal quality: Silver-plated copper core and double shield ensure excellent conductivity and reduce electromagnetic interference.
- Wide range of applications: Ideal for transmitting, receiving, computer installations and industrial electronics.
- Durability: Wide operating temperature range (-35°C to +80°C) allows the cable to be used in harsh environmental conditions.
- Compliance with standards: Made from materials that do not contain harmful substances (silicone, cadmium).
- RG standard: Meets the requirements of the US MIL-C-17 military specification (RG/U: R=Radio, G=Guide, U-Utility).
- Versatility: Can be used even in areas with GHz frequencies due to diverse electronic, thermal and mechanical properties.
