Flexible halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety

The JZ-500 HMH 3G4 flexible cable is a high-quality control cable designed for use in demanding industrial and construction installations. It is characterized by high flexibility, resistance to external factors, and importantly, a halogen-free coating, increasing safety in the event of a fire. This cable is used as a connecting element in machines, conveyors, technological lines, as well as in metallurgical and steel installations.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH 3G4 cable has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. It is made of stranded copper conductors, which provide it with high flexibility and resistance to bending. The conductors are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, and the entire cable is surrounded by a gray (RAL 7001) coating made of TM7 mixture. This construction guarantees resistance to abrasion, moisture, and the action of oils and greases. Black conductors are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293 standard, which facilitates identification during assembly and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor (green-yellow) from 3 conductors.

The JZ-500 HMH 3G4 cable is perfect for industrial, construction installations, as well as machines and equipment. Its versatility allows it to be used as a measuring, control and steering cable. The conductor cross-section is 4 mm², and the rated voltage is 500 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.7 mm. The minimum bending radius is 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for stationary laying. It should be remembered not to use it where there are continuous movements or mechanical stresses - the cable is designed for medium mechanical load.
