Universal halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety

This flexible JZ-600 HMH 12G0.75 cable is a solution for a wide range of applications, from industrial installations to air conditioning units. The cable is designed with safety and durability in mind, meeting strict European standards. Its construction ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions, and its halogen-free properties minimize the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 12 copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture. The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. The whole is surrounded by a black, halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture, providing additional mechanical protection and resistance to external factors. This makes the cable exceptionally flexible and easy to install, even in tight spaces. The use of stranded conductors class 5 ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending.

The cable is characterized by high radiation resistance (up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg) and oil resistance, making it an ideal choice for harsh industrial conditions. In addition, the cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has certificates confirming its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties (tests according to DIN VDE, BS and IEC).

Applications and operating parameters

The JZ-600 HMH cable is perfect as a measuring and control cable in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, as well as in air conditioning and steel mill installations. It can be used in both stationary and flexible installations – remembering, however, that it is not intended for applications with continuous movements or mechanical stresses. The cable can be laid in dry, wet and humid environments and surface-mounted.

The operating temperature range of the cable is from -15°C to +70°C for flexible applications and from -40°C to +70°C for fixed installations. The rated voltage is 0.6/1 kV. The minimum bending radius during installation is 15 times the outer diameter of the cable for flexible applications and 7.5 times the outer diameter of the cable for fixed installations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.2 mm and it consists of 12 conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm².
