Flexible cable for industrial and control applications

This halogen-free cable OZ-600 HMH 3x2.5 is a versatile solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. The cable is designed for both stationary and flexible installations where resistance to mechanical and chemical factors is essential. Thanks to the numbered, black cores, identification of individual conductors is simple and intuitive, making installation and servicing easier.

This cable finds application in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning units and in the metallurgical industry. It will work well in both dry and humid environments. The cable construction allows for surface mounting.

Construction and properties

The OZ-600 HMH cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring safety and reliability. Made of multi-wire copper conductor class 5, coated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, it provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Twisted parallel cores minimize the risk of electromagnetic interference. The outer sheath made of TM7 mixture guarantees resistance to abrasion and weathering.

• Halogen-free: Materials used in production do not contain halogen, which increases fire safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in case of fire. Complies with DIN VDE 0482-754-1 and IEC 60754-1.
• Radiation resistance: The cable is resistant to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad), making it suitable for use in specific industrial environments.
• Flexibility: The multi-wire conductor construction provides high cable flexibility, making it easy to lay even in tight spaces.
• Temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation.
• Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11.

Technical parameters and characteristics

The cable has a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 1000 V. The approximate outer diameter is 10.1 mm. This makes the cable suitable for transmitting power in installations with medium power. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for fixed laying and 15 x cable diameter for flexible laying. The cable is designed to operate at a voltage of U/Uo 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is as high as 4000V.
