This green, multi-core RZ1-K 3G2.5 mm² cable is a solution designed for safety and reliability. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and UNE 21123-4 standards, it is distinguished by the absence of halogen in the coating, which minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. This is crucial in public facilities and everywhere high protection of health and property is required. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in hospitals, schools, museums, airports, shopping centers and offices.

Construction and properties

The RZ1-K cable is characterized by a flexible construction, which facilitates its installation and routing in tight spaces. Made of multi-wire copper conductors class 5 (according to EN 60228/IEC 60228) insulated with XLPE, it provides good conductivity and long-term operation. The LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) coating further increases safety. Resistance to UV radiation makes the cable perfect for outdoor installations. Thanks to this, it is resistant to weather conditions and retains its properties for a long time.

Applications and benefits

The RZ1-K cable is used in both internal and external installations. Its versatility makes it ideal for powering and controlling various devices. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 5x the cable diameter, which facilitates its installation even in difficult conditions. Additionally, it meets the requirements of CPR class Cca (for cross-sections ≤6 mm²) which guarantees its compliance with European fire safety standards. The weight of one meter of cable is 0.151 kg and the outer diameter is 9.8 mm. The cable is water resistant (AD5).
