This shielded halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500-C 5G1,5 mm² cable is the ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for safe and durable wiring. The MEGAFLEX 500-C cable stands out with its construction providing optimal protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The braided shield minimizes the impact of external interference sources on the transmitted signals, which is particularly important in automation, control and measurement systems. #### Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Multi-wire, flexible copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295) provide good electrical conductivity and facilitate installation. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – increasing the safety of people and property. The cores are black with white number printing (DIN VDE 0293), which makes it easier to identify individual wires in the installation. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores) provides additional protection against electric shock.

The cable has a braided shield made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage, which effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is also made of a halogen-free polymer, providing resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation.
