Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This grey, flexible JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H cable with a voltage of 500V is an advanced solution for control installations, especially in places with increased fire safety requirements. The cable is designed to provide reliable signal transmission and long-term operation in various conditions. The halogen-free coating minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, making it an ideal choice for public and industrial buildings.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a careful construction that affects its flexibility and durability. Made of multi-wire copper conductors, it provides good conductivity and easy installation. The conductors are insulated with a halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture, which increases safety. The cable has a screen in the form of a braid of copper wires, which effectively reduces electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable signal transmission. Additionally, the use of a polyester film as a central wrap provides additional mechanical and electrical protection.

The cable meets the CPR B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 standard, which guarantees its high fire properties – limited flammability, low smoke emission and no release of corrosive gases during combustion. It is resistant to oils and has high resistance to corrosion gases formed during combustion. The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius allows for easy installation even in tight spaces.
