Halogen-free shielded control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H is a solution designed for applications requiring a high level of fire safety, especially in public buildings. The cable's construction minimizes the risk of fire spreading and the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting both people and sensitive equipment. Thanks to its shielding, it also ensures stable signal transmission in environments with high electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Flexible, multi-wire copper conductors ensure good flexibility and ease of installation. The conductor insulation is made of a halogen-free polymer mixture, which, combined with the LS0H (Low Smoke Halogen Free) outer coating, guarantees minimal smoke and toxic gas emissions during combustion. A copper wire braid with an approximately 85% coverage density effectively shields the cable against electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor (green-yellow) from 3 conductors upwards, which increases safety.

It will also be suitable as a control cable in machines, production lines and air conditioning and ventilation installations. Thanks to its shielding, it is ideal for transmitting signals in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. It can be used for both permanent and flexible installations in dry, damp and wet rooms.
