Halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability in one

This flexible JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H control cable is a solution designed for demanding applications where fire safety and protection against interference are crucial. Made of high-quality materials, this cable is perfect for public buildings, industry, and anywhere high resistance to external conditions and minimal risk of toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire are required.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Made of multi-strand copper conductors class 5, insulated with a halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture, it guarantees flexibility and easy installation. The strands twisted in layers with a polyester film and a screen in the form of a braid of copper wires (coverage density approx. 85%) effectively suppress electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. The outer jacket made of a halogen-free M1 material ensures safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke.

Application and compliance with standards

The JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H 4G6 cable is widely used as a control cable in buildings with high fire safety requirements (office buildings, hospitals, schools) and in industry (machines, conveyor belts, production lines). It will also be useful in air conditioning installations and automation systems. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE and EN standards, which guarantees its high quality and reliability.

The operating voltage is 300/500 V. The cable remains flexible in the temperature range from -15°C to +70°C and can operate permanently from -40°C to +70°C. The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for fixed laying and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible laying. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51. For optimal electromagnetic compatibility, it is recommended to contact the copper braid with clamps (e.g. EMC cable glands) on both sides.
