Construction and properties for safety

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors, surrounded by insulation made of a halogen-free polymer. This is crucial because in the event of a fire, it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke – important in public buildings, office buildings or hospitals. In addition, the copper braid screen minimizes interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. The outer jacket made of halogen-free plastic provides additional protection and resistance to mechanical damage.

Applications and installation

The JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H cable is used as a control cable in buildings of Hazard to People (ZL) character, such as office buildings, hospitals or schools. It will also be useful in machines, production lines and air conditioning systems. It can be used in both fixed and flexible installations – remembering the minimum bending radius of 4x cable diameter for fixed laying and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible operation. For optimal protection against interference, it is recommended to ensure two-sided contact of the copper braid with the clamps (e.g. EMC cable glands). The cable is intended for use in dry, damp and wet locations and for surface laying.
