Halogen-free shielded control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H is a solution designed for demanding applications where fire safety and protection against interference are crucial. The cable is characterized by high fire resistance, minimal smoke and toxic gas emissions during combustion, making it an ideal choice for public buildings and industrial installations. The shielded construction ensures stable signal transmission in environments with high levels of electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with multi-wire copper conductors, providing flexibility and durability of connections. The conductor insulation is made of halogen-free polymer, which minimizes the risk of toxic substances forming in the event of a fire. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and the whole is protected with a polyester foil and an effective 85% coverage copper braid. The outer jacket is made of halogen-free M1 plastic, which further increases safety. The cable has a CPR class B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 – confirming its high fire properties.

Applications

JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H 7G10 cable is primarily used in buildings of Hazard to People (ZL) character – office buildings, skyscrapers, hospitals, schools, airports or stations – where the highest fire safety standards are required. It will also work as a measuring and control cable in machines, production lines and air conditioning and ventilation installations. Thanks to the shielding, it is ideal for applications requiring protection against electromagnetic interference. Additionally, its properties allow it to be used in steel mills and other demanding industrial environments.
