Halogen-free shielded control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible control cable, designated JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H, is a solution designed for demanding applications where fire safety and protection against electromagnetic interference are crucial. The cable stands out with its halogen-free construction, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting both people and sensitive electronics. The screen in the form of a copper braid provides effective protection against interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Flexible, stranded copper conductors ensure flexibility and ease of installation. Conductor insulation is made of a halogen-free polymer mixture, and the conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch. Additionally, the cable has a polyester foil wrap and a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires – this is what provides high resistance to interference. The outer sheath is made of a halogen-free type M1 plastic, which further increases the level of safety.

The cable meets strict European standards (CPR B2ca-s1a, d0, a1), confirming its high quality and compliance with safety requirements. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range (from -40°C to +70°C) both in stationary and flexible mode (from -15°C to +70°C). The operating voltage is 300/500V. The minimum bending radius ensures convenience during installation – 4x cable diameter for fixed laying and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible laying.
