Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This shielded control cable JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H is a solution for installations requiring a high level of fire safety, especially in public buildings. The cable is designed for applications in places gathering a large number of people, such as office buildings, hospitals, schools or stations. Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, in the event of a fire, it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke, protecting the health and life of users and minimizing material losses.

The cable is characterized by flexibility and durability, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term reliability. The screen effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable transmission of control and measurement signals. Class B2ca confirms its compliance with European safety standards.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of multi-wire copper conductors of flexibility class 5, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The conductors are insulated with halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture, and their identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – black conductors with white numbers and a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 conductors upwards). Twisted layers of conductors are surrounded by a polyester foil and a braid of tinned copper wires, which constitutes an effective barrier against electromagnetic interference. The whole is covered with a halogen-free type M1 coating in gray color (RAL 7001).
