Halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety in one

This 25-core flexible JZ-500 HMH-C cable is a solution for demanding installations where both effective signal transmission and a high level of safety are important. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from machines and conveyor belts to installations in buildings and industry. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) provide flexibility and resistance to bending, making installation easier even in tight spaces. Each conductor is insulated with halogen-free TI6 compound, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – important for the safety of people and equipment. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission. The outer jacket made of halogen-free TM7 compound provides additional protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The conductors are black with white numbered printing for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores).

Applications and compliance with standards

JZ-500 HMH-C cable is ideal for use in machines, production lines, air conditioning systems and steel mills. It will work both in stationary and flexible installations – where high reliability and resistance to external factors are required. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51/DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The cable has also been tested for gas emission during fire (DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1) and smoke density (DIN VDE 0482 part 1034-1+2/DIN EN 61034-1+2). The outer diameter of the cable is 16.2 mm and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm².
