Halogen-free shielded control cable – reliability and safety

This flexible JZ-500 HMH-C 7G10 cable is the ideal solution for applications requiring high reliability and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for use in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems, and steel mills. It will work well in both stationary and flexible installations where flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are important.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction providing optimal operating parameters. Made of seven copper cores with a cross-section of 10 mm², insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, it ensures safe operation even in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification, and from the third core there is also a yellow-green protective core. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission. The outer jacket made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions.

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is intended for transmitting power and control signals in industrial environments. Thanks to its properties, it is perfect for places exposed to high temperatures (operating range: -40°C to +70°C for stationary installations and -15°C to +70°C during assembly), humidity and exposure to oils. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51/DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The high screen density ensures interference-free signal transmission, which is crucial in precise control systems. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
