Control cable – reliability and safety in every application
This halogen-free, shielded JZ-500 HMH-C cable is the ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for use in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning installations and in the metallurgical industry. It will work both in stationary and flexible installations – where reliable signal transmission is important.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and safe operation. Made of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 16 mm², insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, it provides optimal electrical parameters. The conductors are twisted in parallel and protected with a separating foil and a braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage), which guarantees effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture provides resistance to abrasion, oils and high temperatures. The whole is wrapped in a gray coating (RAL 7001).
The cable meets strict safety standards, including fire tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24) and is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2). Additionally, it complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE) and has properties limiting the release of smoke and corrosive gases (halogen-free according to DIN VDE 0482-754-1).
