This halogen-free, shielded JZ-500 HMH-C cable is an optimal solution for a wide range of applications in industry, construction and equipment. Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is distinguished by carefully selected components that guarantee its durability and functionality. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Insulation made of halogen-free TI6 compound and the outer sheath made of TM7 compound minimize the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire – this is crucial in places with increased safety requirements. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments. The conductors are numbered for easy identification, and the cable is available with or without a yellow-green protective conductor.

Applications and technical parameters

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is used as a measuring and control cable in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning equipment and steel mills. It will work both in stationary and flexible installations – remembering, however, the limitations regarding mechanical loads (no possibility of random tensile forces or repetitive movements). The cable is ideal for transmitting control signals and powering devices with a voltage of up to 500V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 17 mm with a conductor cross-section of 6 mm². The coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km.
