Control cable – reliability and safety in every application
This halogen-free, shielded JZ-600 HMH-C cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and 12 cores is an ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Designed for measuring and control installations in machines, production lines, air conditioning equipment, and the metallurgical industry. This cable will perform perfectly in both stationary and flexible installations.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction ensuring high quality and safety of use. Made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, there is a yellow-green protective core (from 3 cores in the outer layer). Parallel twisted cores provide optimal electrical properties. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission. The braid provides effective shielding against interference, which is crucial in industrial environments. The whole is surrounded by a durable coating made of halogen-free TM7 mixture (black RAL 9005 color).
It is worth noting a number of certificates and tests confirming the highest quality of the cable: fire test, self-extinguishing and flame retardancy, resistance to corrosive fire gases, and compliance with standards regarding low halogen content. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11.
Application and operating parameters
The JZ-600 HMH-C cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C for fixed laying and from -15°C to +70°C for flexible operation. The rated voltage is 0.6/1 kV, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for fixed laying and 15 x cable diameter for flexible operation. Radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 14.3 mm.
Thanks to its properties, this cable finds application in dry, wet and humid environments and can be laid openly. It is ideal where high data transmission reliability and fire safety are required – especially in places with an increased risk of fire.
