Flexible control cable – reliability and safety in every application

This 25-core JZ-600 HMH-C flexible cable is a solution designed for demanding industrial applications and installations where reliable signal transmission and safety are key. This cable combines flexibility, resistance to external factors and advanced protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is particularly recommended for use in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems and in the metallurgical industry.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded copper conductors, which ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The conductors are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, and the entire cable is surrounded by a screen of tinned copper wires with a high density (85% coverage). This screen minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable signal transmission. The outer jacket is made of halogen-free TM7 mixture, which ensures safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety.

Applications and standards

JZ-600 HMH-C cable is intended for stationary and flexible installations as a measuring and control cable. By meeting the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11, it guarantees a high level of safety and reliability. The cable has passed tests confirming its fire resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24) and low flammability (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2). Additionally, it meets the requirements for corrosion resistance of fire gases (VDE 0482-754-2) and halogen-free (VDE 0482-754-1). The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V, the conductor cross-section is 1 mm², and the number of working conductors is 25. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 22 mm. The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -15°C to +70°C with flexible laying and from -40°C to +70°C with fixed laying.
