Flexible control cable – reliability and safety in every application
This halogen-free, shielded JZ-600 HMH-C cable with a cross-section of 3 x 35 mm² is the ideal solution for demanding installations where reliability, safety and protection against interference are crucial. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from machines and conveyor belts to production lines, air conditioning and industrial installations. Thanks to its construction based on high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in various environmental conditions.
Construction and properties ensuring optimal functionality
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees its unique properties. Made of stranded copper wire class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295), it provides flexibility and ease of installation. Cores insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture are numbered for easy identification. A braid screen made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in industrial environments. In addition, the outer jacket made of halogen-free TM7 mixture provides resistance to mechanical damage and meets stringent fire safety standards.
- Halogen-free: The use of halogen-free materials increases safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases.
- Shielding: Copper braid provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable signal transmission.
- Flexibility: Construction with stranded wire class 5 provides high cable flexibility, making it easier to lay and connect in tight spaces.
- Weather resistance: Possibility of use in dry, wet and humid environments and surface laying expands the range of cable applications.
- Wide temperature range: Permissible operating temperature from -40°C to +80°C (with fixed installation) guarantees reliable operation in difficult conditions.
- Numbered cores: Facilitate core identification during installation and servicing.
Applications and compliance with standards
JZ-600 HMH-C cable is used in stationary and flexible installations where high resistance to external factors and protection against interference are required. It is ideal for:
- Machines and industrial equipment
- Conveyor belts
- Production lines
- Air conditioning installations
- Steel mills
- Applications requiring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
The cable meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The cable has passed fire tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24 and IEC 60332-3-24 confirming its flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties. Additionally, it meets the requirements regarding corrosion of fire gases (VDE 0482-754-2) and smoke emission (DIN VDE 0482 part 1034).
