Flexible control cable – reliability and safety in every application

This flexible 1kV JZ-600 HMH-C control cable is a solution designed for demanding industrial and construction installations. This cable, characterized by its high resistance to external factors, is perfect for machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning equipment, and metallurgy. Its construction ensures reliable transmission of signals and pulses, minimizing electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

This cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its durability and safety. Made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 35 mm², insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, it provides flexibility and ease of installation. The conductors are numbered for easy identification. Additionally, a braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should be connected to clamps (e.g., cable glands) for optimal EMC protection. The whole is surrounded by an outer jacket made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture in black (RAL 9005).

The cable meets strict safety standards, including self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2. The materials used in production are cadmium and silicone-free, making it environmentally friendly. It is a halogen-free cable, which means minimal release of toxic gases in the event of a fire – important for the safety of people and equipment.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-600 HMH-C cable is intended for stationary and flexible installations in dry, wet, and humid environments. It can be laid openly and used in outdoor installations. Thanks to a wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C for fixed installation and -15°C to +70°C for flexible use), it is suitable for various operating conditions. The rated voltage is 1000V, and the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 38 mm. The coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for fixed installation and 15 x cable diameter for flexible operation.
