This halogen-free, shielded 500V flexible cable is the ideal solution for use in machines, production lines, air conditioning installations and many more. It provides reliable signal and control transmission in industrial environments and buildings. The cable construction is designed for long-term operation and safety.

Construction and properties

The OZ-500 HMH-C cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. It consists of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture. The conductors are twisted in parallel and protected by a separating foil and an effective copper braid screen with 85% coverage, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture in gray color (RAL 7001). Such a combination of materials provides resistance to fire, oil and corrosive fire gases.

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11, which confirms its high quality and safety. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).

Thanks to its construction, this cable is suitable for surface laying and in conditions exposed to moisture. The minimum bending radius is approx. 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying and approx. 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation. The coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km, which guarantees high signal transmission quality. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.2 mm. Please note that the cable is not intended for applications with continuous movements or mechanical stresses.
