Halogen-free data transmission cable DATAFLAMM
This grey, metered DATAFLAMM 7x0.25 mm² cable is designed for reliable data transmission in various applications. It features a halogen-free construction, making it particularly suitable for installation in public buildings, laboratories and shopping centres – anywhere where fire safety is a priority. This cable minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, ensuring greater safety for users and installers.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of seven cores with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², made of unannealed copper. The cores are twisted in pairs and have colour identification according to DIN 47100, which facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. The cores are surrounded by polyethylene (PE) insulation, and the whole is protected by an outer jacket made of HM2 material, meeting the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 24. The flexible construction with multi-wire cores of class 5 ensures easy routing and connection. The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and +5°C to +70°C (flexible).
Applications and benefits
The DATAFLAMM cable is used in a wide range of installations:
