Halogen-free shielded data transmission cable
This grey J-H(St)H Bd 2x2x0.6 mm halogen-free cable with colour-coded conductors (according to DIN VDE 0815) is a reliable solution for telecommunications installations and signal transmission. The cable is designed with safety in mind and to minimize risk in the event of a fire, and also provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference.
The cable is intended for use in dry and damp rooms, both for surface and concealed installation. Its construction based on halogen-free materials means that in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic corrosive gases, which increases the safety of users and installers. Static screening (St) minimizes the impact of external interference on the transmitted signals, ensuring stable data transmission.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of four copper conductors, insulated with halogen-free HI2 compound. The conductors are arranged in squares and twisted in bundles, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. In addition, the cable has a screen of laminated aluminium foil and an outer HM2 coating – also halogen-free and flame-retardant. This construction guarantees high mechanical and chemical resistance and long-term reliability.
It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -30°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The operating voltage is 300V, making it suitable for low-voltage applications. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0815 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards in terms of fire resistance. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.
