Special-purpose lifting cable

This robust LIFT-TRAGO-30 lifting cable, designed for use in cable carriers, lifts and hoists, is engineered for reliability and safety. It features high flexibility and resistance to mechanical factors, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users. The cable is available in 30-meter (LIFT-TRAGO®-30) and 60-meter (LIFT-TRAGO®-60) versions.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with 24 stranded copper conductors, insulated with special TI2 PVC. These conductors are twisted in parallel around a textile load-bearing element, providing adequate tensile and bending strength. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety. The outer jacket is made of high-quality TM2 PVC, guaranteeing resistance to abrasion, oils and chemicals. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even in harsh working conditions.

The cable meets IEC 60227-6 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It withstands a test voltage of 3000V and breakthrough of min. 6000V.

Parameters and scope of application

The LIFT-TRAGO-30 cable is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500V. The minimum bending radius is 20x cable diameter. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km. The cable also features high radiation resistance – up to 80x10^6 cJ/kg (80 Mrad). This is particularly important in applications exposed to UV radiation or other sources of ionizing radiation.

The cable performs perfectly in dry and humid environments where medium mechanical stress occurs. It is ideal for applications requiring flexibility and reliable electrical connections in lifts, hoists and control systems.
