Special-purpose lifting cable

This lifting cable, designated LIFT-TRAGO-60 18G1, is a reliable solution for power supply and control in demanding conditions. Designed for use in cable carriers, elevators and lifts, it provides safe and efficient power transmission in industrial and construction environments. The construction with a load-bearing element guarantees mechanical strength, and high-quality materials ensure long-term operation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, adapted to the specific requirements of operation in lifting systems. Made of 18 stranded copper conductors, insulated with special PVC TI2, it provides flexibility and reliable connections. The conductors are twisted in parallel around a textile load-bearing element – in the 60 version reinforced with a textile braid – which increases resistance to tensile and mechanical damage. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 protects the cable from external factors such as moisture, oils and chemicals. An additional yellow-green protective conductor increases safety.

The cable complies with IEC 60227-6 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 5025-2-51 standards, confirming its high quality and safety. Therefore, it can be used in various industrial applications without fear of failure or hazard to users. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.

Operating parameters and safety

The LIFT-TRAGO-60 cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 3000V. The minimum bending radius is 20x the cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km, providing effective protection against short circuits. The cable also has radiation resistance up to 80x10^6 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad). It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
