Special-purpose lifting cable

This robust LIFT-TRAGO-60 24G1 lifting cable is designed for operation in demanding conditions typical of elevators, lifts, and cable conveyors. It provides reliable control and power in applications where there is medium mechanical stress and exposure to moisture. The construction with a load-bearing element guarantees durability and resistance to damage during operation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on copper strands twisted into bundles. PVC TI2 insulation provides good electrical protection, and the outer jacket made of PVC TM2 – resistance to abrasion and external factors. The yellow-green protective conductor increases safety. Reinforcement with a textile braid (in the 60m version) provides additional mechanical strength. The cable is resistant to oils and chemicals, which expands its range of applications. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

Application and operating parameters

The LIFT-TRAGO-60 cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 3000V. The minimum bending radius is 20x the cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km, which ensures high quality electrical connection. Available lengths are 30m (LIFT-TRAGO®-30) and 60m (LIFT-TRAGO®-60), and longer sections are available on request. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60227-6 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has the CE mark confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
