Universal halogen-free control cable – safety and flexibility

This gray, flexible JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is a solution for a wide range of applications where fire safety and reliability are a priority. The cable is designed for installations in public places, buildings with a high fire risk, and in industry. Its construction ensures not only effective transmission of control signals but also minimizes the risk of generating toxic gases in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a multi-strand, un-tinned copper conductor class 5, which provides high flexibility and resistance to bending. Insulation made of halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture guarantees safety in case of fire – it limits the emission of smoke and toxic substances. The cores are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, which improves their electrical and mechanical properties. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free type M1 jacket, gray in color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

It is worth paying attention to the CPR class (B2ca-s1a, d0, a1), which proves high fire reaction parameters – limited flammability, low smoke emission, and no burning droplets or particles. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE and EN standards, which confirms its quality and safety. The operating temperature range is wide – from -40°C to +70°C in fixed installation and from -15°C to +70°C in flexible operation. The operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter in fixed installation and 12.5x cable diameter in flexible operation.
