Control and power cable for reels – reliability and flexibility in every application
This black, rubber NSHTÖU 4G35 mm² cable is an ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to harsh conditions. Designed for use in cable reels, it is perfect for applications requiring frequent winding and unwinding, ensuring continuous power and control. This cable is used in construction, mines, cranes, conveyors and hoists.
Construction and properties – a guarantee of long-term operation
The NSHTÖU cable is distinguished by its solid construction, which ensures reliability even in the most demanding conditions. Made of high-quality materials, it has stranded conductors around a core element and secured with textile tape. A textile braid reinforces the construction and protects against twisting. A key element is the outer jacket made of polychloroprene (neoprene), which is characterized by exceptional resistance to low temperatures, ozone, UV radiation, oils, acids, greases and fuels. Thanks to this, the cable can be used both indoors and outdoors, in dry, wet and humid environments.
Safety and compliance with standards
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 814 and has a fire reaction class of Eca (EN 13501-6). The rated voltage U0/U is 600/1000 V, and the rated conductor cross-section is 35 mm². The cable has been tested for fire behavior (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2) and oil resistance (DIN VDE 0473-811-404). Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293 – up to 5 conductors in color, and above 6 conductors in black with white numbering. This makes the installation clear and safe.
Additional information:
- The flexibility of the cable allows for easy routing and laying even in tight spaces.
- Resistance to radiation up to 20 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (20 Mrad) ensures long-term stability of properties.
- The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation.
- Permissible winding speed up to 120 m/min allows for efficient operation with cable drums.
- Maximum operating temperature of conductors is +60°C (during short circuit +200°C).
