This NSHTÖU 5G1.5 mm² rubber cable is the ideal solution wherever high mechanical strength and resistance to external conditions are required. Designed for use in cable reels, it works perfectly in applications requiring frequent winding and unwinding, ensuring continuous power and control. It will be useful on construction sites, in mines, and in the lifting and crane industry.

Construction and properties

The NSHTÖU cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Made of high-quality materials, it meets strict safety standards. The strands are twisted around a supporting element, and the whole is secured with a textile tape and a durable, neoprene outer jacket. The neoprene coating provides exceptional resistance to low temperatures, ozone, UV radiation, oils, acids, fats and many other chemicals. This allows the cable to be used both indoors (dry, wet and damp rooms) and outdoors – even in harsh weather conditions.

• Mechanical strength: The cable is designed to operate in winding systems, guaranteeing its resistance to longitudinal loads and repeated bending.
• Chemical resistance: The neoprene outer jacket protects against the action of aggressive chemicals.
• Wide temperature range: The cable remains flexible at temperatures from -35°C to +70°C (flexibly) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary).
• Safety: The cable meets DIN VDE 0250 part 814 standards and has a fire reaction class Eca according to EN 13501-6.
• Core identification: Colored cores (up to 5 cores) or black with white numbering (from 6 cores) facilitate identification during installation and servicing in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308.

Technical parameters and application

The cable has a core cross-section of 1.5 mm², a rated voltage of 600/1000 V and is designed to operate at a test voltage of 2500 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. Thanks to its properties, it finds application not only in construction and heavy industry, but also as a flexible power cable in crane equipment and external installations. It provides a reliable connection where standard cables fail – especially with frequent movements and changing environmental conditions.
