This black, seven-core NSHTÖU 7G2.5 mm² cable is the ideal solution wherever high resistance to mechanical loads and frequent winding and unwinding from a drum are required. Designed for demanding applications such as construction, mines, cranes, conveyors or jib cranes, it ensures safe and efficient power transmission. The cable works perfectly both in outdoor installations and in rooms with varying levels of humidity.

Construction and properties

The NSHTÖU cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper strands are twisted around a carrier element and then secured with GI1 rubber insulation. A textile braid reinforces the structure and protects against twisting. The whole is surrounded by an exceptionally resistant to atmospheric and mechanical conditions outer jacket made of neoprene (polychloroprene). Core identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – up to five cores colored, above five – black with white numbering.

Thanks to the use of a rubber outer jacket, the cable exhibits excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, oils, acids, fats and many other chemicals. It is flexible even at low temperatures (down to -40°C) and can operate at temperatures up to +70°C. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 814 and has passed tests regarding behavior during fire (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2).
