Robust PUR cable for industrial applications

This flexible cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed for demanding working conditions. It features high resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals and extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for applications in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, the oil and coal sectors, and construction sites. It is perfect as a power cord for portable devices.

This cable is particularly recommended for use where contact with aggressive chemicals occurs. It provides reliable operation and long life even in harsh conditions. The cable construction guarantees easy removal of the outer jacket during installation.

Construction and properties

The cable has two 1.5 mm² copper conductors, stranded for increased flexibility. The core insulation is made of special TI2 PVC, and the outer jacket is made of durable polyurethane (PUR). The yellow color (RAL 1021) ensures good visibility. The cores are color-coded for easy identification.

• Flexibility at low temperatures: Enables operation even at -40°C without loss of properties.
• Abrasion resistance: Ensures durability in areas exposed to mechanical damage.
• Chemical resistance: Resistant to oils, greases, fuels, weathering and many other chemicals.
• Wide temperature range: Possibility of operation in the range of -15°C to +80°C during installation and from -40°C to +80°C after installation (without vibration).
• Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
• Minimum bending radius: Flexible 7.5 x outer cable diameter; when laid permanently 4 x outer cable diameter.
• Insulation resistance: Minimum 20 MOhm x km – guarantees good insulation and safety of use.

Technical parameters and application

The cable has a rated voltage of 500V and is intended for control or power cables. The approximate outer diameter is 7.8 mm. Thanks to its construction and properties, it is perfectly suited for:
